29 October 2018 | Art Market and Due Diligence – Implementing the Obvious?

Kunstforum Zürich and the University of Zurich's Art Market Studies program are partnering with the Art Law Foundation on a series of conferences to take place in Zurich. The first conference will discuss the first self-regulatory initiatives in Switzerland: the Responsible Art Market (RAM) initiative and Art Basel's new ethical guidelines and dispute resolution process. It will take place on Monday, 29 October 2018, at schwarzescafé, Löwenbräu Areal Zurich.

17:15 Art Basel’s expansion of exhibitor regulations through guidelines and protocols explained by Marc Spiegler, Director Art Basel

17:45 Anne Laure Bandle, Director Art Law Foundation, attorney-at-law, presents the “Art Transaction Due Diligence Toolkit” of the recently founded Responsible Art Market Initiative

18:15 The keynote speeches are followed by a panel discussion, moderated by Nicolas Galley, Director of Studies, University of Zurich’s Art Market Studies program.
